Senior Quantity Surveyor

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare tenders, quotations, and progress claims to support procurement and billing processes
• Conduct measurement take-offs, manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and ensure accurate project costing
• Source and evaluate suppliers/subcontractors, negotiate quotations, and select reliable partners
• Advise project teams on cost implications of variations to maintain budget control
• Handle interim payments, claims, and maintain proper project documentation for compliance
• Administer tender processes and provide support for ongoing project execution
• Lead and mentor junior QS staff, ensuring quality standards and adherence to company policies

Preferred Competencies & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field
• Knowledge of steel structure construction methods and materials
• Strong analytical skills for cost evaluation and decision-making
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with teams and suppliers
• Team-oriented mindset to achieve project goals
