Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveyor or related field
- Minimum 5-10 years of M & E QS work in construction projects
- Experience in handling tendering large scale building projects is preferred
- Detailed and Meticulous
Responsibilities
- Monitor all financial aspects of the project to ensure that the project is within budget
- Liaise, coordinate and have good rapport with team members, consultants, client, contractors, suppliers and architects
- Prepare and analyse cost comparision
- Obtain quotations, liaise and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
- Preparation of monthly main claims and variation orders to consultant
- Preparation of monthly subcontractor payment certificate, variation orders, final accounts settlement
- Involved in managing and reporting of project budget and cost control
- Responsible in post-contract administration for main contract and subcontract
- Familiar with various stages of projects to source for reasonable priced materials
