Prepare tender costing, including bills of quantities based on tender documents and drawings, and estimate materials and labour required.
Evaluate tenders from sub-contractors and suppliers and negotiate effectively with contractors and suppliers.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure client requirements are met efficiently.
Control and monitor all stages of projects within predetermined budgets and expenditures.
Perform monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting final costs.
Conduct commercial vetting of sub-contractor tenders and contracts.
Certify sub-contractor monthly valuations and finalize accounts.
Monitor and manage all commercial information related to projects, including labour, materials, and sub-contractor cost forecasting, to ensure strict budget adherence.
Provide all necessary information to Managers and Directors for periodic reviews as required.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the electrical construction industry
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills to manage complex projects and liaise effectively with stakeholders would be an added advantage
