Roles & Responsibilities:
. To prepare documents and submissions for tendering new projects or packages.
. study contract documents, perform measurements and prepare Bill of Quantities
. To assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Client's representative on claims and variation costs
. Coordinate with scheduling specialist on time impact of all variations.
. Call quotations, compare prices and prepare bill of quantities to arrive at the tender pricing
. To review and verify the Subcontractor's / Supplier's claims and prepare payment certificates
. To attend site meeting and progress claim meeting
. Upon completion of each project/package, to monitor the respective project during the defect's liability period
Requirements:
. Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualifications
. Preferably at least 5 years of relevant working experience in Civil Engineering working in industrial building construction is a plus
. Preferably working with an A1 main contractor.
. Reliable with good communication and interpersonal skills
. Good technical and contractual knowledge with high integrity and work ethic
. An independent and effective team player, collaborating on multi-projects of various stages, ensuring deliverables within set time & expectations.
