Responsibilities:
Post Contract:
. Preparation of budgets
. Filing of variations/ monitoring of project variations
. Advise site team on contractual issues
. Valuing completed works and Filing of progress claims
. Monitoring of procurement process
. Attendance of site/technical meetings
. Drafting of subcontracts
. Preparation of cost assessment for Variation Orders
. EOT claims preparation
. Evaluation of price comparison summary
. Conducting site measurements
. Review and understand all plans and specifications
. Arranging meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to review the specifications, scope of works and method of construction if required
. Built-up rates for costing purpose
. Coaching of QSes
Tender:
. Carry out quantity take-off for project which includes sourcing for supplier and sub-contractor, collate price for comparison
. Prepare tender and contract documents
. Prepare and analyse costings for tender
. Perform risk, value management and cost control
. Responsible for collecting, sorting, check other bidding calculation of quantities
. Accountable for reviewing tender documents, drawings and quantity taking-off
. Prepare quotations for various technical works, material, manpower etc
Requirements:
. Degree or Diploma in Building/ Quantity Surveying.
. Min 5 years experience in Senior role, preferably from Main Contractor
. Well-versed in both Contracts Administration and Tenders
. Experience in Good Class Bungalow or landed houses project is added advantages.
. Possess good negotiation and coordination skills
. Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate with people from all levels.
. Meticulous, analytical with excellent problem solving skills, proactive, good team player and able to meet tight deadlines
. Able to work independently with minimum supervision
