Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Location: Walking distance from Bendemeer/Lavender mrt
- Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm
- Salary: $4000 - $6000
Responsibilities
- Manage pre and post tender activities including quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
- Prepare and review contracts, variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
- Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Monitor and control project budgets, implementing cost-saving and value engineering measures.
- Conduct site surveys and participate in measurements and valuations with clients and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with sales, design and project teams on all contractual and M&E matters.
- Analyze tender returns for cost competitiveness and contractual compliance.
- Support project teams with technical proposals, progress tracking, and resolution of contractual issues.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Min 3 years of relevant experience in commercial construction projects.
- Proficient in tools for quantity take-off and technical drawings.
- Familiar with contract administration, project budgeting, and cost control practices.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
