Experience required
- Take-off quantities, prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ, drawings and specifications for the calling of quotations).
- Source for sub-contractors and suppliers, quantity measurement, costing and estimation for both pre-contract and post contract.
- Pre and post tender/contract negotiation, administration, and monitoring.
- Track changes to the Design/ Construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
- Price and forecast the cost of different materials required for the project.
- Procurement responsibilities including tender document preparation, calling for quotation for sub-contract works, evaluate, and compare costs before awarding the works for sub-contract package.
- Follow up on invoice preparation, purchase order, work order, sub-contract agreement and letter of award to sub-contractors and/or suppliers.
- Monitor and evaluate work progress and assess sub-contractor's progress payment claims and variation order claims before certification. This will include contract administration for any variation or change for both Sub-contracts and Main Contracts.
- To follow up on monthly progress claims in a timely manner.
- Involved in respective site, client, and consultant meetings, Liaise closely with project sites for related claims.
- Minimum diploma or degree holder in Building / Quantity Surveying / Civil / Structural Engineering
- At least 5 year(s) of relevant working experience in Construction sector
