Senior Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor Manager (Maincon/ 5 days)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements, and provide cost advice during planning stages.

• Develop, monitor, and control project budgets throughout the construction lifecycle.

• Support tendering activities, including preparation, evaluation of bids, and contract negotiation.

• Implement cost control measures and monitor project expenditures to prevent overruns.

• Identify and support value engineering opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.

• Perform quantity take-off for materials, labour, and equipment requirements.

• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies in coordination with project teams.

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide cost updates and financial reporting.

• Ensure compliance with contract terms, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

• Professional accreditation is an advantage.

• Proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.

• Proficiency in cost estimation tools and MS Excel.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and numerical skills.
