Role Description

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing cost management and planning, preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), implementing cost controls, and producing detailed cost reports for projects. This role involves collaborating with teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project budgets are managed efficiently and that costs are optimized without compromising quality. This is a full-time on-site role based in Tuas, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Competency in Cost Control, including monitoring budgets, managing expenditure, and implementing measures for cost efficiency
• Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in quantity take-offs and cost estimations
• Strong expertise in Cost Management and Cost Planning for civil engineering and building projects
• Effective communication and negotiation skills for collaborating with various teams and contractors
• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in civil engineering or general building within the construction industry
• Familiarity with relevant software tools, project management methodologies, and regulatory standards in Singapore
