On behalf of our client in the Fund management industry we are looking for a Senior Quantitative Trader. Details are as under :
Key Responsibilities
- Trade perpetual futures, options, and other crypto derivatives across centralised and decentralised exchanges with medium-frequency execution horizons.
- Design, develop, and optimise mid-frequency trading strategies using advanced quantitative techniques and data analytics.
- Analyse market microstructure, liquidity patterns, and volatility dynamics to identify alpha-generating opportunities over minutes to hours.
- Collaborate with developers to build and refine execution infrastructure tailored for medium-latency, precision trading.
- Monitor and actively manage risk across multiple assets and venues in dynamic market conditions.
- Conduct thorough post-trade evaluation to improve models, execution quality and strategy performance.
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Deep interest in digital asset markets and systematic strategy development with a focus on medium-frequency time frames.
- Proficiency in or eagerness to learn Python/C++ for research and algorithmic implementation.
- Ability to make methodical and data-driven decisions under moderate time pressure.
- Competitive spirit combined with teamwork and a continuous learning mindset.
- Ownership mentality with intellectual curiosity and drive to innovate in algorithmic trading.
Preferred Qualification
- B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent in quantitative, engineering, computer science, finance, or related fields from top global universities.
- Familiarity with Singapore's regulatory landscape for crypto assets, including PSA and MAS compliance frameworks.
- Experience or strong interest in market microstructure, stochastic processes, game theory, or crypto liquidity dynamics appropriate for medium-frequency trading.
- Previous involvement in crypto or traditional markets applying mid-frequency or systematic trading techniques (prior crypto experience advantageous but not mandatory).
- Comfort managing SGD-denominated capital and adhering to multi-jurisdictional compliance standards.
- Commitment to operational excellence, risk controls, and cybersecurity practices as per MAS guidelines.
