Job Description

Principal Responsibilities

ü Oversee and coordinate tasks assigned to Vendor Coordinators and TPC Coordinators;

ü Review prequalification documents (e.g., MAR, PDR, PQD) for all procurement packages;

ü Standardize quality requirements in MR/TBE templates; conduct dual reviews for critical procurement packages;

ü Lead TPC weekly meetings; attend Procurement Quality Meetings and external procurement-related meetings;

ü Develop and implement Procurement Inspection Co-ordination Procedure.

ü Supplier Pre-Qualification Documents Review

ü Involve quality audit to Vendors/Manufactures.

ü Involve in Kick-off meeting

ü Participate in Pre-inspection Meeting

ü Liaise with Third Party Certification and QatarEnergy to ensure their appropriate involvement.

ü Vendor Document Review including MPS ITP and WPS and relevant Quality Procedure

ü Review flash report/ in-process report/close-out report of Third Party Inspectors

Education/Experience Requirements/ Certification

ü BSc. degree in Engineering in related discipline with experience with similar EPIC Oil & Gas project procurement experience.

ü Shall have minimum of twelve (12) years of QA/QC relevant experience (e.g. in oil & gas and petrochemical projects, infrastructure and communication) in the respective functional area;

ü Shall have a minimum of two (2) years management experience in establishment, operation and maintenance of a quality management system in accordance with applicable international standard with the capability of developing and implementing quality system, quality plans, work procedures and inspection plans;

ü Preferably be a Registered Lead Auditor with IRCA, RABQSA or equivalent;

ü Shall have specific qualifications proving expertise in the project's predominant discipline. i.e. for piping, pipelines, mechanical works

ü Shall have Welding Inspection Qualification (CSWIP 3.1, AWS- CWI or IWE) or equivalent and have at least ASNT –TC-1A level II or PCN level, etc.

ü Shall have five (5) years experience directly relating to inspection of construction activities (e.g. in oil & gas and petrochemical projects, infrastructure and communication), as relevant.
