Job Summary
You will serve as the main quality contact for customers, leading cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, manage RMA processes, support production troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary quality liaison for customers, addressing quality issues, feedback, and shipment concerns such as wrong parts or missing reports
- Lead and coordinate internal teams to troubleshoot problems, make decisions, and deliver formal reports to customers (e.g., FA, 8D, CAR)
- Manage the entire RMA process including review, approval, return, disposition, and closure
- Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives and problem resolution
- Drive process continuous improvement efforts focused on yield enhancement and scrap reduction
- Oversee operational quality activities including FAI and outgoing report reviews, D-note closure, rejects review, waiver requests, and lot disposition at final quality control
- Review customer specifications and qualification boards during New Product Introduction (NPI) phases
- Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities such as Customer Quality Plan adherence and internal audits
- Coordinate customer surveys and questionnaires to gather quality feedback
- Lead preparation and coordination for customer visits and audits, including audit checklist preparation, follow-up, and closure of findings
- Administer Corrective Action Requests (CAR) in the Agile system from creation through follow-up to closure for internal and customer issues
- Support production teams in troubleshooting PCB-related quality issues
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related manufacturing or operations field
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing and quality assurance or equivalent
- Basic knowledge and application of Quality Tools, 8-Discipline problem solving, FMEA/Control Plan, and Lean Six Sigma principles
