In this leadership position, you will own and drive the delivery of diverse projects from start to finish, ensuring exceptional quality and client satisfaction. Beyond technical execution, you will champion team development, mentor junior staff, and actively contribute to operational excellence and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Managment:
- Spearhead multiple complex projects across various sectors from initial briefing through to final account closure.
- Oversee feasibility studies, detailed cost planning, procurement strategy, variation assessments, and progress claims.
- Lead the full tendering lifecycle, including rigorous evaluation, benchmarking, pricing analysis, and final recommendations.
- Provide strategic commercial and contractual advice, effectively managing risks while upholding rigorous quality standards.
2. Team Leadership:
- Guide, coach, and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors, delivering constructive performance feedback and supporting career development.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
- Handle resource allocation and workload planning aligned with project demands.
- Enhance internal cost databases, drive best-practice standards, and encourage value-driven problem-solving.
3. Client Partnerships
- Deepen existing client relationships to secure long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Assist in business development initiatives by identifying new project opportunities and maintaining a healthy project pipeline.
- Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing the firm's industry standing through professional engagement.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a closely related discipline
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within a consultancy environment at an Associate or Senior QS level.
- High integrity, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a collaborative mindset suited for a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
