SENIOR QA QC INSPECTOR

Job Summary

Everstar Fabrication services pte ltd is looking for a qualified QA/QC Inspector with experience in steel structural and piping works. The candidate must be CSWIP 3.1 certified and well-versed in inspection processes and documentation in accordance with project and ASME standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspections on steel structural and piping welding works

Interpret drawings and develop as-built drawings for submission

Inspect and verify raw materials, prepare inspection reports for client approval

Monitor welder performance and ensure welding conforms to approved WPS

Perform fit-up, visual, dimensional inspections of pipe spools and document results

Liaise with NDT vendors for RT, PMI, and MPI works prior to spool release

Carry out weld mapping on isometric drawings

Prepare hydro test packages in accordance with project specifications

Familiarity with ASME piping codes and standards (e.g., B31.1, B31.3)

Maintain proper QA/QC documentation and records for client and internal audits

Report daily to QC In-Charge and coordinate with the project team

Requirements

Minimum Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Must hold valid CSWIP 3.1 certification

At least 3 - 5 years of QA/QC experience in piping and steel structural works

Strong knowledge of WPS, PQR, and piping inspection standards

Familiarity with fabrication and erection QC procedures

Proficient in interpreting piping isometrics and structural drawings

Able to work independently at site locations (Jurong Island, Tuas)

Strong documentation and communication skills.
