Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality initiatives for our payments platform, with strong experience in mobile and web application testing, test automation, and performance testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web and mobile applications
- Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and performance/load testing
- Execute mobile app testing (Android & iOS) including compatibility, usability, and reliability testing
- Identify, track, and drive resolution of defects with development teams
- Lead root cause analysis for critical issues and drive long-term quality improvements
- Establish and enhance QA processes, standards, and best practices
- Review requirements and designs to ensure testability and quality
- Analyze test results, prepare reports, and communicate risks and recommendations
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a strong quality culture
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA with strong focus on test automation
- Experience testing mobile applications (Android/iOS) and web applications
- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar)
- Exposure to mobile automation tools (Appium or similar) is a plus
- Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.)
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC
- Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA or similar)
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
