We are looking for a pro-active and result-driven Senior Account Executive. The primary client focus is on the consumer tech sector, requiring day-to-day interaction with media, influencers and partners in industries and strength the brand-related coverage.
Ideally, the talent should have prior experience in media relations and have a deep understanding of the media landscape. Good communication and negotiation skills and be able building strong and trustworthy relationships with media and influencers and other 3rd party vendors.
Scope of the Role
Media & influencer relations
- Build and maintain media and influencer lists, primarily focus in SEA with global market.
- Handle media and influencer inquiries and proactively identify opportunities for client exposure.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with media and influencers to amplify client messaging and secure coverage.
- Monitor media and social key data points via Meltwater and other tools, to identify and summarize trends or key coverage that affects the client's business.
Content Creation
- Create engaging content such as pitch letters, news releases, briefing book, reports, and other communication materials tailored to the consumer tech audience or other style that required by the clients.
- Identify emerging industry and media / influencer trends to craft relevant content and narratives.
- Support the ideation and development of messaging frameworks and taglines for campaigns.
Client Servicing
- Serve as the primary contact point for clients.
- Manage day-to-day account deliverables, including client servicing, third-party liaison, proposal development, and on-site support.
- Monitor project progress and ensure all stakeholders (client, internal teams, third parties) are kept updated throughout the process.
- Guide Interns on projects, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Contribute to account administration duties such as billing, activity reports, and other operational needs.
Strategy & Research
- Conduct research to maintain a deep understanding of clients businesses, industries, and market trends.
- Fully support research and brainstorming for new business pitches and existing clients. This includes competitor analysis, market landscape insights, tagline ideation, communication opportunity identification, and message house building.
Requirements of the Role
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, Marketing, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of related experience in a similar capacity
- Proven ability to manage projects independently and liaise with clients effectively.
- Strong copywriting skills, particularly in crafting content for the consumer tech audience or lifestyle audience.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams. Independent, can-do attitude.
- Capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting tight deadlines.
