We are partnering with a leading real estate development and investment platform with an established presence across Asia. The organisation is involved in the development and management of large-scale commercial, mixed-use, retail, hospitality, and residential projects across key gateway cities in the region. As part of its continued growth and project pipeline expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Senior Projects Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex development projects across Southeast Asia. This role will lead major development projects from inception through completion and handover, ensuring delivery to the highest standards across programme, cost, quality, governance, and health & safety.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, consultants, contractors, authorities, and cross-functional teams to drive project execution and delivery across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale development projects from planning through completion and handover
- Establish project execution strategies, delivery frameworks, and governance processes
- Manage consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate design development, authority submissions, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and operational handover
- Develop and manage project budgets, cashflow forecasts, and cost control measures
- Monitor project timelines and proactively manage risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
- Ensure alignment between project execution and overall business objectives
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including consultants, contractors, authorities, joint venture partners, and senior leadership
- Prepare project updates, reporting materials, and strategic recommendations for management review
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, approval procedures, and statutory regulations across relevant Southeast Asia markets
- Promote and uphold high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing throughout project delivery
Key Requirements- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience delivering large-scale development projects from inception to completion
- Proven track record managing complex commercial, mixed-use, retail, hospitality, and/or residential developments
- Experience working with developers, institutional real estate platforms, or major project environments preferred
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and project coordination capabilities
- Commercially minded with strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, and governance
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, regional environment
