The Senior Project Planner will lead the planning, scheduling, and progress control functions for a large-scale LTA project. The candidate must be highly proficient in project planning methodologies, capable of developing detailed master schedules, and experienced in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate programme integration. The role requires strong analytical skills, full command of Primavera P6, and a solid track record in planning for complex infrastructure projects.
Develop, maintain, and update the Master Project Schedule using Oracle Primavera P6.
Identify critical path, key milestones, and interface dependencies across civil, structural, M&E, solar, and other project disciplines.
Ensure that the project schedule complies with LTA and contractual requirements.
Forecast schedule delays, analyse impacts, and propose mitigation strategies.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and schedule variance analysis.
Track progress against approved baselines and monitor contractor submissions.
Evaluate productivity rates, resource loading, and schedule performance indicators.
Present schedule updates and planning insights to senior management and the client when required.
Work closely with the Senior Project Manager, BIM Manager, Design Team, and Site Teams to ensure alignment between planning and actual site execution.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to integrate their schedules into the master programme.
Participate in project coordination, technical meetings, and interface discussions to resolve planning conflicts.
Identify schedule risks and conduct risk impact analysis.
Develop mitigation, recovery, and acceleration plans where required.
Support the project team in claims, EOT analysis, and contractual planning matters.
Ensure all planning documents comply with project specifications and LTA requirements.
Maintain detailed records of schedule baselines, revisions, and approvals.
Support the preparation of documentation for audits, reviews, and reporting.
Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
PMP Certification is mandatory.
Preferably certified in project planning or scheduling methodologies.
Minimum 8 years of relevant planning experience, preferably in large-scale or LTA infrastructure projects.
Proven experience using Oracle Primavera P6 (expert level).
Strong background in planning for multi-disciplinary engineering works, including civil, M&E, or renewable energy components.
Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills.
Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to manage large data sets, produce meaningful insights, and support decision-making.
Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and other planning tools.
Highly meticulous and detail-oriented.
Able to work under pressure and deliver within tight timelines.
A team player with strong problem-solving abilities.
