About the Role

A well-established marine engineering company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead marine engineering projects involving afloat repairs, offshore operations, and vessel technical services. This role is suitable for candidates with extensive marine engineering and project management experience who are passionate about delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage marine engineering projects from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, budgets, and project deliverables.
  • Prepare quotations, costing analysis, project documentation, and final settlement reports.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, tools, and equipment required for projects.
  • Manage subcontractors and monitor project execution to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Liaise with customers, vendors, shipyards, and other project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate manpower deployment and logistics for project activities.
  • Maintain accurate project records and update internal systems.
  • Provide technical support and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Valid 1st Class Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC).
  • Proven experience in marine engineering, offshore operations, ship repair, or related project management.
  • Strong knowledge of marine machinery and vessel operations.
  • Experience managing engineering projects, budgets, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Good planning, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking overseas stakeholders and headquarters where required for the role.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
