Are you a driven technology leader with a solid background in banking and financial services We're seeking a Senior Project Management, Team Lead to head our Digital Platform Services Team (DPST) and help drive digital transformation across corporate and investment banking domains in the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to shape the mid-term strategy and execution roadmap for the DPST.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Transformation Teams to identify business needs, pain points, and drive digital initiatives to address them.
- Lead a team of Business Analysts to define business requirements and work with Engineering and Architecture teams on effective technology solutions.
- Plan and manage projects from resource planning, scheduling, and budgeting to stakeholder alignment and Project Charter preparation.
- Lead end-to-end project delivery through your team of Project Managers from initiation to closure.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to Project Managers and Business Analysts, fostering continuous growth and performance excellence.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Banking, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years experience in banking or financial institutions, with at least 8 years in Corporate Banking.
- In-depth understanding of corporate banking products and operations such as:
- Familiarity with Asia Pacific banking regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Strong technical acumen, with hands-on experience in solution design and business process re-engineering.
- Good knowledge of solution architecture, design patterns, and technology best practices.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated success in managing third-party vendors and offshore delivery teams.
- This role will require close communication with China counterparts. Knowledge of Mandarin would be good to have.
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or ITSM are advantageous.
