Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager with a strong background in process improvement and change delivery within the banking sector. This role will lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer experience across business units.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of process improvement and transformation projects across banking operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Identify inefficiencies and pain points in current workflows, and design scalable solutions to optimize performance and reduce operational risk.
Collaborate with business, technology, compliance, and risk stakeholders to define project scope, success metrics, and implementation plans.
Drive Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies, ensuring timely execution, resource alignment, and benefit realization.
Facilitate workshops, process mapping, and root cause analysis to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Manage project governance, including steering committee updates, risk/issue tracking, and regulatory reporting where applicable.
Oversee change management activities including stakeholder engagement, training, and communication to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
Monitor post-implementation outcomes, track KPIs, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across teams.
Key Requirements
Minimum 810 years of project management experience, with a strong focus on process improvement in banking or financial services.
Proven track record in delivering complex, cross-functional change initiatives with measurable business impact.
Strong knowledge of banking operations, regulatory frameworks, and risk controls.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2, PMP) and process improvement tools
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills across senior business and technology audiences.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP) preferred.
