Operation and Project Management:
- Responsible for project system design, equipment installation, configuration, testing and commissioning.
- Lead the team to implement & uphold proper project management disciplines, structures, practices, and processes to drive scope estimation, prioritisation, and delivery of the project.
- Manage client expectations and ensure proper scope management.
- In-charge of managing and handling the implementation of successful system integration projects.
- Liaise and coordinate with the technical team, subcontractors, and customers with regards to the implementation of the project.
- Ensure that all projects and work activities adhere to systems design and conform to contract requirements, technology, and statutory standards.
- Crisis management, able to re-assign resources from relevant work scope and deploy effectively when issue arises.
- Handle critical problem and conflict resolution within the internal and external parties aiming to minimise negative impact and foster harmonious relationship among team members, clients, business partners and subcontractors.
- Responsible to train and guide maintenance team after completion of project for maintenance.
- Train and guide new staff on the project process, procedures, and systems.
- Review manpower requirement and mange staff performance and development, ensuring all issues are well matched to the capability of the individuals within the team.
- Keep employees technical knowledge up to date and identify training plans for each team member.
- Establish and nurture a pipeline of talent and successor.
Sales & Pre-sales support:
- Create business opportunities and sales inquiries for company's growth.
- Participates in tender interview, pre-sales solutioning exercise as well as long and short-term planning.
- Work closely with sales team in providing information for potential customer and sales.
- Providing relevant market intelligence to the Management to identify potential business opportunities.
- Developing and implementing product and solution technology roadmap of the company.
- Work closely with Maintenance manager/lead for maintenance contract renewal, system enhancement and upgrade for the assigned account.
- Responsible for strengthening and maintaining long term relationship by keeping good customer communications, support, and services.
- Financial Management:
- Responsible for overall project cashflow managmeent and profit and loss of the Intelligent Transport Systems Team, including budgeting, monitoring and controlling cost to ensure the effective and efficient expenditure of allocated funds.
- Responsible for monitoring and tracking project payment status and ensuring collection of projects payments from clients is timely and delayed/delinquent accounts are closely followed up and resolved.
- Implement effective supply chain and vendor management to maximise customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost and ensure that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations and meet quality and delivery requirements.
Safety Management & Information Security Management:
- Lead, promote and ensure the team follows safety management and information security management system and work procedures.
Training and Development:
- Guide and provides technical guidance to the team. Develop learning roadmaps
- Ensure work related training is provided and coordinate with HR to assist in development of training materials as when it is required.
- To follow all company business operation and SOP at all times.
- Participate actively in Health Safety and Environment programs and activities in order to achieve Company's KPIs, ISO 14001 objectives and target. Proactively rectify any abnormalities, unsafe acts or unsafe situations and report to supervisor accordingly.
- Maintain high standard of housekeeping at all times.
- Other operational duties as assigned by Supervisor.
