Job Description

Senior Project Manager – Architectural Acoustics & Audio-Visual Systems

About Soundzipper

Soundzipper is a Singapore-based acoustic consultancy founded in 2011. We work with architects, developers, interior designers, and homeowners across residential, commercial, and performance spaces. Our approach combines deep technical expertise with an increasingly AI-augmented delivery model — we use AI tools to accelerate commodity output while investing consultant time where it matters most: judgment, client relationships, and technical defensibility.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can independently own Singapore client relationships and technical project delivery. This is not a desk-bound modelling role — you will be the trusted advisor in the room with architects, developers, and contractors, leading meetings and defending technical positions without senior supervision.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience maintaining relationships with clients, coordinating with architects, engineers, AV integrators, and contractors, working on government and military projects, to deliver technically complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing meetings, site visits, and design coordination sessions for assigned Singapore projects.

• Produce and quality-assure technical deliverables: noise impact assessments, acoustic design reports, specifications, BCA/NEA/LTA submissions.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with architects, developers, and contractor teams.

• Act as the quality gate on all outputs — whether produced manually, AI-assisted, or by the wider team.

• Contribute to AI-augmented workflows that multiply team efficiency.

• Track Singapore regulatory updates and share knowledge with the wider team.

What We Are Looking For

Must-Haves

• 5–8 years of experience in project management, project logistics, and/or military/government projects (exceptional candidates with 3–4 years and strong independent client evidence will be considered).

• Demonstrated experience with Singapore-built environment projects and regulatory submissions (BCA/NEA/LTA).

• Proven ability to lead meetings with architects, developers, and contractors without senior supervision.

• Strong professional communication — verbal and written.

• Relevant degree (Architectural Acoustics, Civil Engineering, Building/Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent).

• Valid work authorisation for Singapore.

• AI fluency: demonstrated comfort using AI tools in professional workflow. Must be able to critically evaluate AI-generated technical content.

Nice-to-Haves

• Existing architect/developer relationships in Singapore.

• Government/statutory tender experience.

• Chartered/professional registration.

• Environmental acoustics exposure.

• Experience building or documenting AI-assisted workflows for a team.

What We Offer

• Competitive salary: S$6,000–S$8,500/month (flat, 12 months) based on experience and capability.

• Variable performance bonus: up to one month's salary, assessed annually. No commission, no sales targets.

• Full remote flexibility when not attending client meetings or site visits.

• Extended year-end leave: 1 additional week paid (company closure, not deducted from annual leave).

• Group medical insurance from Day 1.

• Monthly team events + 2 fully-funded company offsites per year.

• CPF contributions at statutory rates.
