The Senior Project Manager is part of the PMO team and is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading
projects from ideation through to completion. This role at International SOS requires specializing in SDWAN
delivery where you will be responsible for planning, contracting, coordinating the technical design and
documentation and managing the end-to-end execution of a landmark transformation project. You will
collaborate with IT solution vendors, partners, cross-functional teams, including stakeholders from various
business line, to ensure successful project delivery aligned with business requirements. Your expertise in
project management and technical leadership will be vital in driving the successful implementation of
complex infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- As the Senior Project Manager, manage core program deliverables on time and within budget while mitigating issues and risks to achieve the business benefit of the program.
- Contribute and shape the statement of work to achieve RFP objectives and business as well as operational requirements.
- Drive vendors to meet their commitments per agreed work order or statement of work
- Tailor and provide the right program and project communication updates to all necessary stakeholders
- Define the customisation of global operational processes together with relevant point of contacts to meet project requirements acceptance
- Manage relationships of all stakeholders and resources during delivery and serve as a primary interface between the various internal and external points of contact
- Manage all complaints, change requirements and corrective actions, while avoiding scope creep
- Prepare a clear and effective communications plan, and ensure proactive communication of all relevant information to all stakeholders
- Monitor and control so that the project streams within the program are delivered within the approved budget, forecast, and planned scope.
- Ensure that the project meets all objectives for quality and looks continuously for quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Actively apply appropriate best practices and lessons learned throughout the life of the project. Monitor, control and report KPIs defined in customer contract.
- Ensure data in all project-related tools and repositories is accurate and up-to-date
- Conduct thorough risk management for all project risks and opportunities
- Lead the project team to execute against the project objectives
- Complete the project closure and handover as required, and include: complete contractual requirements, post calculation and, lessons learned
- Drive and close out any operational issues that arise during project delivery phases until handover complete and accepted by run teams.
- Maintain all project artifacts, including infrastructure diagrams, technical specifications, and configurations.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and problem-solving across infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, or similar combined roles, managing enterprise-wide,
- complex SD-WAN projects.
- Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure principles, network architecture, server infrastructure, storage systems, and security mechanisms.
- Well versed on IT Service Management processes such as incident, change, problem management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and infrastructure automation tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain project plans, monitor progress, and manage budgets and resources.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage senior stakeholders and collaborate with cross -functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills to provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISA, CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL, are a plus.
