Job Summary
Join our expanding team as a Senior Project Engineer to lead ACMV projects, manage site activities, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure timely, safe, and quality project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams in collaboration with the Project Manager to achieve project goals.
- Plan, organize, and manage daily site activities to ensure alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
- Monitor project progress and prepare formal reports to communicate status and issues to stakeholders.
- Coordinate and supervise site activities involving technical staff, laborers, and subcontractors to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Liaise with authorities, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure compliance and smooth project execution.
- Conduct periodic site inspections to verify installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, methods, procedures, and materials.
- Identify and implement corrective actions to address delays or emergencies at the construction site promptly.
- Perform risk management and enforce adherence to site safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Attend site meetings and inspections, providing regular progress updates to the Project Manager.
- Resolve engineering and technical issues efficiently to minimize project disruptions.
- Support site safety and health management initiatives to uphold regulatory and company standards.
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in construction with strong expertise in ACMV systems.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated teamwork, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to resolving client issues.
