The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing both general construction and structural works on-site, ensuring compliance with approved design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations and project timelines.
Job Descriptions:
- Liaise with consultants, resident engineer and clerk-of works on any matter related to construction works e.g. inspection of reinforcement concrete works and discrepancies in drawings.
- To execute the works and EHS matters planned by the Project Manager / Construction Manager / WSHO and lead the team of supervisors and sub-contractors to ensure works are done on time and done correctly and safely and to inform the Project Manager on conflicts among the subcontractor.
- Liaise with our M&E and Archi coordinators / Engineer / Manager on M&E and Archi works affecting reinforced and/or steel structure works.
- Liaise with our Architectural Coordinator/Supervisor of architectural works to interface with reinforced structure works.
- Liaise with our Land Surveyor or License Surveyor on setting out.
- To organize site housekeeping work for supervisors and sub-contractors on a regular basis.
- Check that plants e.g. cranes, water pumps, concrete pumps, air compressors are in working condition.
- Coordinate, monitor and assist the various sub-contractors on all matters relating to the progress of works.

- Ensure sub-contractor have the latest information and drawings.
- Attend all consultant site meetings, technical meetings and sub-contractor meetings.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the construction industry, preferably on large-scale building or infrastructure projects
- Experience with AutoCAD and BIM software is preferred
