Brief Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to take a lead role in delivering our green infrastructure projects. This position requires strong technical drawing ability, structural understanding, on-site leadership, and the capability to guide junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Leadership
- Lead day-to-day planning, coordination, and on-site execution of green infrastructure projects (green walls, roof gardens, irrigation systems).
- Supervise contractors, suppliers, and junior engineers to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor project schedules, site measurements, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical solutions for on-site challenges.
Technical Drawing & Engineering
- Prepare, review, and refine detailed drawings and construction details for greenery systems.
- Ensure engineering feasibility, buildability, load calculations, and structural integrity.
- Update drawings according to site modifications or client requirements.
- Ensure all technical submissions comply with BCA/NParks and regulatory standards.
Documentation & Client Coordination
- Prepare method statements, technical reports, and project documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and authorities on technical matters.
- Support tenders and proposals with accurate drawings, measurements, and engineering inputs.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering.
- 1-3 years of relevant engineering or project experience.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and structural detailing.
- Good understanding of plant loading, wind loads, anchorage, and lightweight structures.
- Strong leadership in site coordination and technical problem-solving.
- Knowledge of BIM, Rhino, or SketchUp is an advantage.
