Job Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager and site personnel in the planning, execution, and completion of electrical installation projects.
- Attend site inspections and testing to ensure all electrical works meet project specifications, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
- Responsible for coordination of the design, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of building management systems.
- Perform engineering duties such as design, engineering calculations, planning, tender.
- Oversee the installation of electrical equipment and single-line design, development, and integration of wiring for various projects, ensuring optimal functionality, reliability, and safety.
- Resolve any technical problems faced during project design and/or construction stages.
- Troubleshooting Electrical control panel for all ACMV systems.
- Supervise and coordinate with relevant authorities, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure timely progress and compliance with all technical and safety standards.
- Assist in preparing progress payment claims, variation orders, and other project-related documentation.
- Monitor and manage project costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and timelines.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management in support of project delivery.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical project management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge in electrical systems including LV / MV distribution, lighting, power supply, earthing, and control systems.
- Familiar with local codes, standards, and authority requirements (e.g. EMA, SP Group, BCA).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
