Job Description
The Senior Project Engineer (Electrical) will oversee and manage complex electrical projects, ensuring adherence to company procedures and high standards. This role includes driving continuous improvements in productivity, customer satisfaction, schedule adherence, delivery, and safety performance. The Senior Project Engineer will collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure that electrical systems are designed, implemented, and maintained efficiently and safely.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to assess the viability of proposed projects
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Manage project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and team performance
- Ensure that all electrical systems comply with safety and regulatory requirements
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets the required standards
- Provide technical support to project teams and clients
- Identify and resolve issues or problems that arise during the project
- Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Job Requirements
- Min. 5 years of experience in Electrical works
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Experience with AutoCAD or other design software with strong understanding of Drawings
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project schedules and budgets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
