Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Provide technical direction and mentorship to project engineers and junior staff.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, quality, operations, and external partners.
Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Conduct risk assessments, identify issues early, and implement mitigation strategies.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and management.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, standards, and internal procedures.
Manage vendor relationships and support procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
Lead problem-solving efforts and ensure technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and project delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). Master's degree is a plus. Or has the below:
10-15+ years of project engineering or related experience, including leadership of complex projects.
Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP certification is a plus).
Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables.
Proficiency with engineering software and project management tools (AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, etc., depending on industry).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
