We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful execution of capital and improvement projects within a GMP manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and capital projects.
- Act as the primary field representative, ensuring project activities are executed according to schedule and project requirements.
- Coordinate daily activities between contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and site stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress on-site and proactively escalate risks, delays, and resource constraints.
- Support installation, construction, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.
- Conduct site walkdowns to ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and project standards.
- Review and verify contractor work against approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Assist in permit-to-work coordination and ensure safe execution of field activities.
- Support project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, change requests, punch lists, and project records.
- Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification, and turnover activities where required.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in utilties management, preferably in a regulated environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing).
- Knowledge of cGMP, GxP, and EHS standards.
- Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
