Our Client, headquartered in Singapore, has supported some of the world's leading premium brands with high-quality mechanical solutions and components. Their expertise spans precision tool fabrication, advanced plastic processing, and assembly operations across the consumer electronics, industrial, and medical sectors.

Their oil & gas division is well recognized for its capabilities in precision deep hole drilling and the machining of complex exotic metal components.

As part of their expansion plan, there is a new permanent position open in their operation in Guangdong, China.

Requirement

1.Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mold Design, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

2.Experience

8
8+ years of project management experience in the injection molding industry (for Manager position)

Must have project management experience serving as a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier for globally recognized high-end consumer electronics/home appliance brands(relevant background in the cleaning appliance/consumer electronics sector is highly preferred).

Candidates with direct employment experience at major international brand headquarters or in their core supply chain management roles will be prioritized.

3.Technical Knowledge

Proficient in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, DFM, and other industry-standard quality and project management tools.

Strong knowledge of injection molding, spraying, assembly processes, and defect analysis/improvement methodologies.

Proficient in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD/UG experienced with SAP/ERP systems.

1.End-to-End Project Management

Oversee the entire project lifecycle for key customer new product introductions (NPI) and mass production transfers.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering mold development, trial production, ramp-up, and volume delivery.

2.Primary Customer Liaison & Relationship Management

Serve as the single point of contact for designated strategic customeraccounts.

Lead customer communications, organize regular meetings, on-site audits, and visits to ensure effective information flow and maintain long-term partnerships.

3.Cross-Functional Coordination & Problem Solving

Coordinate resources across R&D, mold engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to resolve issues related to schedule, cost, quality, and risks.

Ensure projects are closed on time and meet quality standards.

4.On-Site Customer Support & Rapid Response

Quickly respond to customer production line abnormalities and engineering change requests.

Organize internal rework, repair, and urgent shipments to ensure continuous customer production.

5.Technical Documentation & Deliverables Review

Review and ensure the completeness, accuracy, and version control of all project documents in accordance with customer-specific requirements and standards.

BOM, DFM, , , FMEA, CP, SOP, ECN, APQP, PPAP
(Including BOM, DFM, mold drawings, flow charts, FMEA, CP, SOP, ECN, APQP, PPAP).

6.Quality & Process Optimization

Lead sample testing, FAI, CPK, and defect analysis.

Drive design, mold, or process optimization until all customer qualityrequirements are fully met.

7.Packaging & Automation Solution Design

Design and evaluate packaging solutions balancing protection, cost, andenvironmental impact.

Develop or introduce degating machines, measurement fixtures, and secondary processing jigs to enhance automation and operational efficiency.

8.Cost Optimization & Lean Advancement

Lead VA/VE and Lean activities.

Propose and implement cost-saving solutions in materials, processes, and logistics.

9.Process Standardization & Knowledge Management

Establish a project lessons-learned database and convert best practices into standard procedures.

Drive the introduction of new processes, equipment, and standards, including validation, documentation updates, and training rollout.

10.Supplier & Mold Management

Evaluate and drive continuous improvement of key suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of molds and materials for customer projects.
