The Senior/Project Director plays a critical leadership role in steering project success, ensuring operational excellence, and nurturing strong client relationships. You will oversee project teams, manage end-to-end delivery, and drive commercial, technical, and design coordination to ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and at the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Strategy & Delivery
- Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale design & build projects from award to completion.
- Establish project strategies, milestones, planning schedules, and resource allocation.
- Ensure execution aligns with contract requirements, design intent, safety compliance, and quality standards.
- Drive proactive risk management, resolving complex project challenges effectively.
2. Client Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the senior point of contact, building trust and long-term partnerships with clients.
- Provide strategic insights, manage expectations, and ensure client objectives are consistently met.
- Lead key presentations, negotiations, and discussions with clients, consultants, and authorities.
3. Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor, develop, and guide Project and cross-functional teams.
- Promote a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven culture aligned with DB&B's values.
- Support knowledge sharing and talent development through coaching and structured feedback.
- Foster strong teamwork between design, technical, commercial, and site teams.
4. Commercial & Financial Oversight
- Manage project budgets, cost control, variations, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure sustainable profitability and optimise project margins through sound commercial decisions.
- Lead tender reviews, contract negotiations, and procurement strategies.
5. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Uphold DB&B's commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee site progress, resolving technical or operational issues swiftly.
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and processes meet internal and external standards.
6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Champion innovation, sustainability, and best practices in project management and construction.
- Lead post-project reviews to identify learnings and improve future delivery frameworks.
- Drive enhancements to DB&B's project governance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial interior design & build, construction, or project management.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex corporate interior projects.
- Strong experience in client-facing roles, stakeholder coordination, and team leadership.
- Deep understanding of contracts, building codes, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, WELL) are advantageous.
