Job Summary
Manage construction projects by maintaining documentation, coordinating schedules, liaising with stakeholders, monitoring site progress, and tracking financials to ensure quality, safety, and budget adherence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain critical project records including Requests for Information (RFIs), contracts, permits, and change orders to ensure accurate documentation control.
- Coordinate the arrival of materials and equipment on-site and manage subcontractor schedules to optimize project logistics.
- Serve as the primary liaison between architects, engineers, site workers, and the project manager to provide timely and accurate project information.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, verify work quality against blueprints, and enforce safety standards.
- Assist with budget management by tracking expenses, verifying invoices, and preparing financial progress reports to support financial tracking.
- Utilize construction management software such as Procore or Microsoft Project to track project milestones and documentation efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to confirm site work accuracy.
- Communicate technical requirements clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms to diverse project teams.
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field with at least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in construction management software like Procore or Microsoft Project.
