about the role
The Programme Manager will hold overall accountability for the program's implementation success. This strategic role involves directing all facets of the project, including program governance, organizational change management, and capability building. You will be responsible for leading and integrating the cross-functional technology and process teams required to drive the final deployment.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to comprehensively analyze required system customizations, providing an expert, independent perspective on industry best practices and defining the necessary trade-offs to adhere to a unified, common system design.
- Lead strategic decision-making in governance, ensuring strict adherence to SAP's Clean Core principle by expertly balancing unique business requirements against the need for customization.
- Serve as the primary advocate for business needs, confirming core requirements are met while skillfully navigating and managing compromises between tailored bespoke demands and established industry standards.
- Function as the expert advisor to the business, identifying and evaluating bespoke requirements against industry-leading practices and standard system architecture to define clear implementation trade-offs.
- Govern and steer all strategic decisions related to system design, upholding the integrity of SAP's Clean Core mandate while accommodating essential customization where strategic value is proven.
requirements:
- At least 15 years of experience in ERP implementation, showcasing senior leadership in executing major, cross-entity ERP business transformations.
- Essential experience includes leading ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects and successfully delivering SAP Central Finance solutions.
- Extensive and documented experience in overseeing high-value programs and portfolios involving the orchestration of numerous workstreams, external vendors, and complex dependencies.
