Job Summary
The Senior Programme Executive leads the planning, execution, and monitoring of community and social service programmes, ensuring operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, volunteer coordination, and impact evaluation to deliver effective services to beneficiaries.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor community outreach and client support programmes to meet organizational goals
- Manage daily program operations, including logistics, budget utilization, and resource allocation to ensure smooth delivery
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, orientation, engagement, and retention to maintain a committed volunteer base
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with community groups, grassroots organizations, and corporate sponsors to support programme objectives
- Collect and analyze operational data to evaluate programme outcomes and prepare detailed reports for leadership and funders
- Organize workshops, public events, and group activities to increase awareness and support for social service initiatives
- Implement continuous workflow improvements to enhance programme efficiency and client satisfaction
Required competencies and certifications
- Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills demonstrated through managing multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage diverse community stakeholders
- Proficiency in data tracking, budget monitoring, and applying programme evaluation methodologies
- Adaptable problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure programme success
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Project Management, Communications, or related discipline
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in programme coordination, project management, or operations management, preferably within social service or non-profit sectors
