Job Description

JOB ROLE

Lead large, multi-million-dollar services engagements, partnering with customer senior management to drive strategic alignment, delivery excellence and customer satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial & Business Acumen

• Contribute to P&L management, including revenue, cost, and margin optimization

• Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability and operational efficiency

• Drive account growth through proactive account mining and relationship building

• Support presales team for new business opportunities.

Program Management

•Define and enforce program governance frameworks to ensure alignment with organizational strategy

•Manage one or more large banking clients, driving program delivery and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives

•Oversee multiple related projects, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, quality, and financial targets

•Monitor SDLC metrics and drive corrective actions to maintain control over scope, quality, and cost

•Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and issues; lead resolution planning with cross-functional teams

•Establish and standardize delivery practices, templates, tools, and governance policies

•Collaborate with development managers and architects to ensure high-quality solution delivery and customer satisfaction

•Track milestones, manage dependencies, and ensure on-time delivery within budget

•Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors, to manage expectations and communicate progress

•Drive steering committee meetings with senior client stakeholders.

Team Management

•Coach and mentor project teams on SDLC processes, agile methodologies, and best practices

•Foster a high performance, motivated team culture focused on delivery excellence and customer satisfaction

•Manage large, distributed teams across onsite and offshore models

•Navigate cross-cultural dynamics to ensure effective collaboration and communication

Client Management

•Act as a strategic partner to clients, contributing to their long-term planning and objectives

•Manage customer satisfaction metrics (cSAT/NPS) and implement improvement initiatives

•Communicate trade-offs, risks, and key decisions clearly across stakeholders

•Drive presales activities to support business expansion.

DESIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

•20 – 25 years of experience in software development within the BFSI domain, preferably in an IT services environment

•8–10 years of program management experience handling fixed-price programs/projects on the vendor side

•Proven experience managing large-scale digital transformation programs in fixed-price models for one or more clients.

Strong experience working in global delivery models (onsite/offshore)

•Solid understanding of end-to-end SDLC metrics and governance practices

•Demonstrated expertise in client management, including senior stakeholder engagement

•Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project or equivalent) and MS Office suite

•Experience leading large, cross-functional teams in complex program environments

•Ability to manage large teams (60-70 members) across distributed locations

•Strong negotiation, influencing, and conflict resolution skills

•Ability to collaborate effectively with technology teams, business stakeholders, end users, and senior leadership.
