Senior Production Planner

A global multinational medical device manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Production Planner to play a key role in driving production planning excellence across its Singapore manufacturing operations.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of production scheduling, inventory optimization, demand planning and operational performance while partnering closely with manufacturing, customer service, procurement and logistics teams to ensure exceptional customer delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production schedules that balance customer demand with manufacturing capacity.

• Lead planning activities across finished goods and sub-assemblies while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

• Analyze demand fluctuations and implement proactive planning strategies to minimize shortages and backorders.

• Utilize Oracle, SAP or equivalent MRP systems to optimize planning parameters and production efficiency.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support S&OP activities and operational planning.

• Monitor planning KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma with proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.

• Approximately 3–6 years of production planning or supply chain planning experience.

• Strong ERP/MRP planning experience (Oracle, SAP or equivalent).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working within regulated manufacturing industries would be advantageous.
