Senior Product & Project Engineer

Svanehoj Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Product & Project Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is responsible for delivering technical solutions for medium to large-scale engineering projects, with a focus on pump products and fire water pump packages. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers throughout the full project lifecycle.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Perform technical solutions in medium or large size engineering in pump products and fire water pump packages.

2. Create engineering drawings and specifications for components, products and mechanical designs working with internal and external customers through the development and approval process.

3. Maintain quality and accuracy of product master data in ERP system as per latest updates required by sales, purchasing, production and aftermarket.

4. Provide technical support to customer solution engineering, product improvement within Engineering and to other stakeholders.

5. Develop, maintain product data books, instruction and operation manuals.

6. Work with Operations, Marketing, Purchasing, Production, Sales, executive management, and others to develop winning solutions.

7. Coordinate and consult with other team members to design or detail components.

8. Proactive technical communication, execution with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders during end-to-end project execution.

9. Identify, mitigate, monitor and report risks in own responsibility area.

10. Work proactively to promote teamwork at all levels of the company.

11. Other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Pre-requisites

Education & Qualification:

. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

. Experience with mechanical designs involving rotative equipment packages, steel structures, piping and couplings are required.

. Ability to use AutoCAD, 3D CAD(NX/SolidWorks) required, good understanding of CAD & GD&T standards.

. Good knowledge on sustaining engineering and ability to use enterprise software.

. Basic understanding of centrifugal pumps and pumping systems

. Efficient in using tools like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and the internet.

Experience:

. 5+ years of experience in product development (preferably in pump products and systems in marine applications such as package engineering, hydraulic power packs and diesel engine driven systems)
