Role Purpose
Responsible for being a bridge between product development team, stakeholders (internal and/or external) and data platform development team to ensure the data platform meets the business needs.
Key Accountabilities
- Gather and document requirements by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand their data needs.
- Capture and measure the real value of data platform deliveries, assessing their impact on business outcomes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain the data platform vision, roadmap, and backlog, prioritizing product items as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional data teams, including Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective data governance and platform optimization.
- Ensure data platform deliveries meet or exceed expectation and drive high level of customer satisfaction.
- Drive agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.
- Own the release management process for the data platform, ensuring CAB governance while maintaining Agile delivery cadence and operational stability.
Secondary/Shared Accountabilities
- Identify automation opportunities and manage departmental automation processes.
- Ensure adequate documentation is available.
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Data.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree of Statistics, Engineering, Administration, Mathematics, Accounting or Computer Science is expected.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in product management, project management, or a related field.
- Solid experience with data related technologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation. Ability to leverage data to make informed decisions, identify trends, and drive product improvements.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Negotiation/mediation skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
