We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Product Owner with deep Supply Chain domain expertise, strong analytical thinking, and a proven track record in Agile product delivery. This role leads the end-to-end ownership of Data and AI-powered Supply Chain Data Products across the Planning, Logistics and Quality domains within our Digital Technology (DT) organisation. You will partner closely with Global Supply Chain business leaders and DT stakeholders to deliver data-driven, insight-rich products that accelerate VF's Data & Analytics transformation.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

End-to-End Product Ownership

  • Own the full lifecycle of Data and AI data products across the Planning, Logistics and Quality supply chain domains: from shaping requirements through design, development, testing, release and continuous improvement.
  • Define, prioritise and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the Supply Chain Data Product roadmap and strategic business outcomes.

Product Roadmap and Strategy

  • Lead the translation of business needs, user research and market insights into a clear product vision and roadmap across your domains, in close partnership with the Director, Data Product Management.
  • Drive product concept development, value assessments and prioritisation decisions with confidence and clarity.

Product Design

  • Lead co-design sessions with business users and technical teams to architect solutions that deliver the best end-to-end user experience across interactive user interface, dashboards and AI-driven capabilities.
  • Own the documentation of business rules, data definitions, acceptance criteria and product specifications.

Product Development

  • Lead Agile ceremonies and drive sprint execution within a cross-functional delivery team.
  • Act as the primary point of alignment between global Product Owners, Analysts, Data Engineers and Architects on features, dependencies and delivery timelines.

Benefits Realisation and Product Performance

  • Define and own product KPIs and release-specific success metrics across Planning, Logistics and Quality domains.
  • Drive user adoption strategies in collaboration with business COE teams, ensuring delivered features generate measurable business value.

Data Governance and Quality

  • Ensure all Data and AI product requirements and features align with VF's data governance policies, business definitions and AI ethics standards.
  • Proactively own data integrity issues, working with engineering and governance teams to drive resolution.

Product Management and Partnership

  • Lead stakeholder communication on progress, risks, dependencies and value outcomes across senior business and DT audiences.
  • Own release planning and coordinate cross-functional expectations for upcoming features.
  • Manage external partner and vendor relationships to ensure delivery quality, performance and accountability.

  • Engage deeply with Planning, Logistics and Quality business stakeholders to surface product needs and translate them into prioritised user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Connect strategic roadmap priorities to incremental delivery, maintaining transparency and stakeholder confidence in backlog decisions.
  • Define and track metrics that demonstrate value from Data and AI-driven insights and capabilities once shipped.
  • Serve as the primary bridge between technical teams (engineering, data science, architecture, testing) and business teams across your domains.
  • Ground decisions in user needs, business impact and data — validating outcomes with evidence.
  • Champion an organised, collaborative and Agile delivery culture within the team and across partners.

What we expect you already have:

  • Years of related professional experience: Minimum 7–8 years, with at least 3 years in a product ownership role.
  • Educational position requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees in a related field are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
  • Proven experience owning Data and/or AI data products end-to-end, from inception through adoption.
  • Skilled in leveraging AI tools for product management and day-to-day productivity enhancement.
  • Experienced in using AI to redesign/optimize workflows and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Deep domain expertise in Supply Chain, with strong working knowledge across Planning, Logistics and/or Quality functions.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders across business and technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead Agile teams, drive sprint execution and manage complex, multi-stakeholder backlogs.
  • Hands-on familiarity with data and analytics tools such as Azure, Databricks, AWS, Tableau, PowerBI or KNIME; exposure to AI/ML product delivery is a strong advantage.
  • Front-end UX/UI awareness, with an instinct for what makes a data product usable and trusted.
  • Courage to challenge ambiguity, say No when needed and make balanced, well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Integrity and strategic thinking — able to balance short-term delivery with long-term product health.
  • Empathy and inclusiveness, with proven ability to navigate and align multi-cultural, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • An end-to-end mindset with excellent attention to detail.
