Job Description:
- Define and execute product strategy with cross-functional teams to drive overall business impact while ensuring good user experience
- Improve key metrics with a specific focus on driving order conversion within the Shopee App
- Design solutions that enhance the user experience within the buyer journey within Shopee App
- Conduct in-depth analysis on user behavior to propose potential improvements and new strategies to continuously improve the topline metrics and conversion
- Drive operation efficiency by deeply understanding the business team's concerns and their workflow
- Work with the design and development team to translate our consumer insights and business know-how into products and systems that are impacting users daily life
- Work with the business and data team to monitor product performance and iterate the design based on user feedback
- Take ownership of the product development lifecycle and ensure timely delivery of products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related science/tech field preferred
- Prior minimum 5 years working experience in product management with at least 2 years in Growth, Personalization, or Recommendation projects. In the consumer facing space.
- Prior experience in regional facing products within SEA that have been launched to scale.
- Self-starter mentality with ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and agile working environment
- Effectively communicate complex business/technical information with different audiences verbally or in writing
- Good critical thinking and data-based decision-making skills
- Cares deeply about user experience and business impact for both Shopee and the ecommerce ecosystem
- Experience in toC product design, or working with data scientists or machine learning engineers is a plus
