Job Description

Responsibilities

As Senior Product Manager (e-Commerce), you will define and lead the product strategy for The Wonder Shop, driving engagement, customer lifetime value, and consequently revenue growth.

This is a strategic role with accountability for commercial outcomes, platform evolution, and AI-enabled optimisation across the end-to-end commerce journey. You will leverage data science, automation, and AI-powered tools to enhance customer experience, merchandising intelligence, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product development
  • Define and execute the multi-year product roadmap aligned with Mediacorp's digital and commerce strategy.
  • Own key metrics including engagement, conversion rate and retention.
  • Identify and deploy AI-driven growth levers such as:
    • Personalized product recommendations
    • Intelligent search and discovery
    • Predictive merchandising and dynamic bundling
    • Partner with business stakeholders on growth and forecasting
    • AI-Driven Customer Experience & Platform Optimisation


  • Lead experimentation strategy (A/B testing, multivariate testing, personalisation).
  • Integrate AI tools into the commerce stack to improve:
    • On-site search relevance
    • Customer segmentation
    • Lifecycle marketing triggers
    • Cart recovery and churn prediction
  • Drive automation in content tagging, product enrichment, and catalogue optimisation.
  • Ensure ethical, responsible, and compliant use of AI and customer data.
  • Content-Commerce & Ecosystem Integration
  • Enable shoppable content and contextual product recommendations within articles, videos, and live streams.
  • Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to deploy data-driven campaign targeting and performance optimisation.
  • Data, Analytics & Decision Intelligence
  • Define North Star metrics and build performance dashboards across acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Translate advanced analytics and predictive modelling insights into product prioritisation.
  • Partner with data science teams to:
  • Develop customer propensity models
  • Identify high-value segments and cross-sell opportunities
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, data literacy, and AI-assisted decision-making within the team.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Lead cross-functional efforts involving engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and operations.
  • Influence senior leadership on product investment decisions backed by data and AI-driven insights.
  • Manage external platform vendors, AI solution providers, and technology partners.
Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of product management experience, with significant exposure to e-commerce, marketplace, or digital consumer platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI/ML-driven solutions in product development or optimisation.
  • Strong understanding of experimentation frameworks, data analytics, and customer lifecycle metrics.
  • Experience working closely with data science and analytics teams.
  • Deep familiarity with modern e-commerce tech stacks including CMS, CRM, marketing automation, payments, logistics, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to link AI initiatives to measurable business outcomes.
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional, agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing recommendation engines, search optimisation, or personalisation platforms.
  • Familiarity with generative AI applications in commerce (e.g., automated product descriptions, conversational shopping assistants, AI merchandising copilots).
  • Experience in media, content-driven commerce, or social/live commerce ecosystems.
  • Exposure to loyalty, subscription, or membership-based business models.
