About Us

MetaComp Pte Ltd is a leading Singapore-based digital payment solution provider, licensed and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Major Payment Institution, to provide Digital Payment Token Services and Cross-border Payment Transfers. Operating under a P2B2C (platform-to-business, partners-to-clients) model, MetaComp provides its clients with an integrated end-to-end suite of services, empowering them to confidently enter the digital asset market with much-needed safety, security, and compliance assurance. Together with its parent company, Metaverse Green Exchange Pte. Ltd. (a MAS-licensed CMS holder permitted to carry out, inter alia, brokerage and custody services), MetaComp introduces its suite of services through CAMP (Client Assets Management Platform) which allow businesses to develop and scale their digital asset offerings through various products and/or services such as over-the-counter transactions, fiat payments, digital asset custody and prime brokerage.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and scaling of our acquiring services across fiat and digital asset ecosystems. This role sits at the core of our payments infrastructure, driving merchant acquiring capabilities, payment acceptance solutions, and end-to-end transaction flows.

You will work closely with engineering, compliance, operations, and commercial teams to build robust, scalable acquiring products that serve both traditional merchants and Web3-native businesses.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the acquiring product roadmap across card acquiring, alternative payment methods (APMs), and crypto payment acceptance
  • Define product vision aligned with MetaComp's payments and digital asset strategy
  • Identify new opportunities in merchant acquiring, cross-border payments, and embedded finance

2. Payment & Acquiring Infrastructure

  • Design and enhance end-to-end acquiring flows: authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
  • Manage integrations with payment networks (e.g. Visa, Mastercard), acquirers, gateways, and local payment methods
  • Work on fraud prevention, chargeback handling, and transaction optimization

3. Merchant Solutions & Experience

  • Build merchant-facing capabilities: onboarding, payment APIs, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Optimize conversion rates, payment success rates, and checkout experience
  • Collaborate with BD and GTM teams to support merchant acquisition and growth

4. Compliance & Risk Alignment

  • Partner with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks (MAS, AML/CFT, PCI-DSS)
  • Embed transaction monitoring, KYC/KYB requirements, and risk controls into product design

5. Cross-Functional Execution

  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable and secure payment systems
  • Coordinate with operations for settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling
  • Align with commercial teams to launch new acquiring capabilities and partnerships

6. Data & Performance Optimization

  • Track key metrics: authorization rates, decline rates, chargebacks, settlement timelines
  • Use data to continuously improve payment performance and merchant experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4–8 years of product management experience in payments, fintech, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of acquiring, payment gateways, and transaction lifecycles
  • Experience working with card schemes, APMs, or payment processors
  • Familiarity with fraud, chargebacks, and risk controls in payments
  • Experience in API-based product development and technical environments
  • Knowledge or interest in digital assets / Web3 payments is a strong advantage
  • Strong stakeholder management and execution capabilities

Nice to Have

  • Experience with crypto payment rails, on/off ramps, or stablecoins
  • Exposure to cross-border payments and FX flows
  • Prior experience in regulated environments (e.g., working with Monetary Authority of Singapore guidelines)
  • Background working in startups or high-growth fintech environments

Why Join

  • Build next-generation acquiring infrastructure bridging fiat and digital assets
  • Work at the intersection of payments, Web3, and institutional finance
  • High ownership, fast execution, and direct impact on company growth
