Senior Product Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Configure and manage authentication mechanisms to ensure secure access to enterprise systems

Design and implement traffic forwarding and routing strategies for optimized network performance

Create, deploy, and fine-tune security policies across infrastructure and proxy environments

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Proxy Auto-Configuration (PAC) files

Identify, assess, and remediate infrastructure and network security vulnerabilities

Administer and support enterprise proxy solutions such as Forcepoint, Blue Coat, Squid, and Zscaler ZIA

Conduct security assessments and audits aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF)

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong experience in network infrastructure, proxy technologies, and security frameworks

Hands-on expertise with proxy platforms (Forcepoint, Blue Coat, Squid, Zscaler ZIA)

Solid understanding of authentication protocols (LDAP, SAML, Kerberos, etc.)

Experience with PAC files and traffic routing logic

Knowledge of vulnerability management and security best practices

Familiarity with NIST CSF or similar security frameworks

Certifications

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

Blue Coat Certified Professional (BCCP)
