Job Description
- Product owner for photonics devices and optical sensors, responsible for product specification and performance.
- Design and development of embedded and fiber optics modules for sensing and data communication optics hardware and software.
- Collaboration with cross-functional team to develop and prototyping of new products or product derivatives, implementation to prototype functional testing and ramp to production.
- Develop qualification strategy and schedule, drive execution to meet project goals
- Complete project documentation including product specifications, quality specifications, quality plans, risk analysis, FMEAs and other product related documentation.
- Big data processing and analysis to provide management reporting and drive improvement activities.
- Lead complex problem solving efforts and mentor others on best practices. e.g. FMEA, Control Plan, Test plan, quality tools and DOE. e.g. Leads/ coordinates CA of failures using a structured approach.
Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor or Master in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Photonics)
Experience:
- 8 - 10 years working experience preferably in the semiconductor/component/photonics industry background
Specific Skills / Knowledge:
- Knowledge of photonics technology
- Software knowledge of MS Office, JMP, PDF/Spot-fire/Tibco is a plus
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Possess the ability to work independently, self-motivated, initiative and deliver tasks on time
- Must be team oriented, positive working attitude, able to multi-tasks in a fast pace environment and work with personnel at all level
