What You Will Be Doing
- Drive sourcing strategies for RFQ and NPI projects to ensure competitive cost, reliable lead time, and supply continuity.
- Identify and qualify capable suppliers for precision components including machining, sheet metal, PCBA, and cable assemblies.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to support successful product industrialisation.
- Ensure materials are ready to support prototype builds and new product launches on schedule.
- Manage supplier performance, negotiate commercial terms, and support cost optimisation initiatives.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments and risk evaluations to strengthen supply chain resilience.
- Track RFQ progress and maintain visibility of quotation status to support timely decision-making.
- Support First Article (FA) sourcing activities to ensure product quality and technical compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier competitiveness and supply chain efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or related discipline.
- Around 5 years or more experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience sourcing build-to-print components such as precision machined parts, sheet metal, PCBA, or cable assemblies.
- Exposure to NPI projects, product transfers, or project-based procurement activities will be advantageous.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and communicate effectively with technical stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple project timelines.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work collaboratively across teams.
