Site Name: Singapore - Jurong Posted Date: Feb 24 2026 You will join our Singapore team as a Senior Process Chemist. You will lead lab and pilot work to scale and transfer chemical processes into manufacturing. You will work closely with chemists, engineers, safety and operations to solve practical problems. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Lead laboratory and pilot-scale studies to define process design space and improve process robustness. Plan and execute technology transfers and prepare clear transfer packages for manufacturing teams. Troubleshoot process deviations and lead corrective actions with cross-functional partners. Develop and maintain technical documentation including batch records, work instructions and campaign reports. Support process safety, cleaning risk assessments and regulatory readiness during campaigns. Mentor and coach operators and junior scientists during trials and campaigns. Why You Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline. Minimum five years hands-on experience in process chemistry, process development or MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology). Practical experience in organic synthesis and laboratory-scale process optimisation. Working knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, NMR and LC-MS. Familiarity with good manufacturing practices (GMP) and laboratory safety. Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field. Experience with pilot plant campaigns and technology transfer to commercial manufacturing. Experience in process safety assessments, cleaning validation or contamination control. Proven record leading technical investigations and implementing corrective actions. Experience with data analysis, visualisation tools or high-throughput experimentation. Experience supervising or mentoring technicians and junior scientists.
