THE ROLE

We are seeking an exceptional Private Banker to drive growth within the UK private client market, based in Singapore. This is a distinctive mandate: one of the world's most globally connected private banking institutions, in Asia's foremost financial centre, seeking a senior banker with a proven, portable book of UK-based HNWI and UHNWI clients.

Both individual bankers and teams are welcomed. Our client has a preference for cohesive teams — ideally a lead banker supported by up to four additional team members — and is fully prepared to structure a comprehensive, commercially compelling transition package.

MANDATE REQUIREMENTS

Location

Singapore (premier global booking centre)

USD 250 million (portable, UK-sourced client book)

Revenue

USD 2.5–3 million per annum

8–10 years of private banking experience

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • A minimum of 8–10 years private banking experience, with a demonstrably portable book of UK-based HNWI and UHNWI clients of USD 250 million or above
  • Deep knowledge of UK private client wealth structures — including cross-border planning, trust arrangements, and the tax and regulatory considerations specific to UK-connected international clients
  • A proven track record of AUM growth, net new money generation, and sustained revenue delivery at a senior level
  • Singapore-based or genuinely open to relocating — candidates already holding MAS licences or equivalent qualifications hold a significant advantage
  • Strong command of investment products, structured solutions, alternative investments, and multi-jurisdictional wealth planning
  • Team leaders with cohesive teams of up to five bankers are particularly encouraged — full team transitions will be actively supported and commercially structured from day one
  • A relationship-first approach with a reputation built on long-term client partnership, trust, and absolute discretion

COMPENSATION

Our client offers a highly competitive, fully individualised compensation package structured to reflect the value of your client book, your seniority, and your market expertise. All discussions are conducted on a strictly confidential basis with shortlisted candidates.

Base Salary

Competitive and commensurate with experience; open budget
