Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Principal Quantity Surveyor, where you will lead projects and ensure successful delivery through your expertise in quantity surveying.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors to meet project requirements. Supervise pre-contract functions, including cost estimation, cost planning, tender document preparation, value engineering, and contract documentation. Oversee post-contract functions such as progress payment valuations, variation evaluations, settling claims, and final account settlements. Serve as the Lead QS for projects, representing the team in client and consultant meetings. Provide contractual guidance and manage claims efficiently. Collaborate effectively with colleagues in all project phases. Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or equivalent from a recognized university. Minimum of 20 years of relevant work experience in the field. Extensive experience in a consulting firm with a strong track record in major public sector projects. Familiarity with the Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract is essential. Professional memberships such as SISV and/or RICS will be considered a plus. Excellent planning, organizational, and supervisory skills.
